This past March, MS NOW unveiled a new programming schedule across nearly all of its dayparts on weekdays and weekends. On Wednesday, the network announced the appointment of four executive producers who will oversee and lead the new shows launching in June.

Stephanie Ruhle’s 11th Hour executive producer, Patrick McMenamin, is following her to the morning as he will steer Ruhle’s two-hour news block, which begins at 9 a.m. McMenamin oversaw Ruhle’s nightly show for the past three years, joining MS NOW in 2020.

Inheriting Ruhle’s old weeknight timeslot is Ali Velshi, who, like Ruhle, will see his executive producer, Rebekah Dryden, from his weekend show, Velshi, move with him to the 11 p.m. hour. Dryden has led Velshi’s program for the past six years and began her MS NOW tenure in 2007 as an intern.

Another member from Velshi’s weekend team is also getting a promotion, as Dina Moss has been named the executive producer of Jacob Soboroff’s new 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. weekend show. Like Dryden, Moss had been with the Velshi team for the past six years.

Finally, Marti House was named the executive producer of Alicia Menendez’s weekday 12 to 2 p.m. program. She most recently served as the EP for Chris Jansing Reports, a role she has held since 2020. She joined MS NOW in 2014 as a producer on PoliticsNation.

When she revealed the new programming schedule in March, MS NOW president Rebecca Kutler said these moves were meant to better position the network for the midterm elections while also looking ahead to the 2028 presidential elections.

In addition, the network indicated that it will share more programming information for its newest hire, Peter Alexander, who moved from NBC News and will anchor the 11 a.m. hour in the coming weeks.
