If you’re a parent, concerns over your child’s safety may never leave you, even if you’re watching the Big Game. Family connection and safety app Life360 is tapping into this anxiety with a darkly humorous Super Bowl ad.

“Elevator,” a 30-second spot created by agency Alto, will debut during Super Bowl 60 on NBC’s streaming platform, Peacock.

It continues Life360’s “Family Proof Your Family” campaign, which launched in 2024 and shares a particular take on modern family life: that parents live in a constant state of anxiety over the safety of their children, and are craving peace of mind however they can find it.

The new ad depicts a husband who discovers his wife trapped between elevator doors. While he’s waiting for the paramedics to arrive, a Life360 notification informs him that their son arrived safely at band practice.

Then, just after the elevator plunges to the bottom of the lift shaft, the husband yells down to his wife that their son also remembered to walk the dog.

Mike Zeman, chief marketing officer at Life360, said that this latest ad may come with a comedic twist, but the message is serious.

“We hope that the tens of millions of parents who see this work in the weeks ahead will recognize themselves in the spirit of our message: As long as your cherished people, pets, and things are OK, you’re OK,” Zeman said in a statement.

A previous spot, “Fridge,” in which a woman finds her husband trapped beneath a fallen refrigerator, debuted in January and will run throughout the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Both commercials end with the tagline: “When they’re okay, you’re okay.”

Last year, Life360’s “I Think of You (Dying)” musical spoke to the real-world anxieties of raising kids and garnered more than 6 million views on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, plus about 70,000 shares across those social networks, according to the brand.

“Life360 has succeeded by meeting parents where they actually live: inside a constant mix of love and fear,” Hannes Ciatti, founder and chief creative officer of Alto, said in a statement. “By leaning into the dark humor and the raw emotional truths of parenting, our work keeps ‘Family Proof Your Family’ fresh, relevant, and deeply human.”
