CNN has named Anna Frost the new head of global marketing for the network. This newly created role will see Frost lead a combined brand and growth marketing unit at CNN, overseeing creative, brand strategy and growth, and performance marketing for all of CNN’s global platforms and its burgeoning subscription offerings. Based in Los Angeles, Frost will report to Alex MacCallum, CNN’s chief operating officer.
Lisa Ling has joined Spectrum News as the local news network expands its California footprint in Sacramento and San Francisco while launching a new statewide network. Ling, who has worked for CNN and CBS News, will report from communities across the state, capturing local stories that matter most within that region.
