The appeal of Stranger Things is not abating, as the Netflix series continues to top Nielsen’s Top 10 Overall Streaming chart for the week of December 8.

With the holiday season in full swing, Stranger Things finished the week with 3.02 billion viewing minutes. This latest win keeps Netflix at the top for five consecutive weeks.

According to Nielsen Streaming Content Ratings, four titles, three from Netflix and one from Paramount+, crossed the billion-viewing-minutes mark. Netflix had the most titles on the chart with five. It was followed by Hulu with four.

The No. 2 and No. 3 positions in the chart remain unchanged from the previous week, with the Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning at 1.595 billion minutes viewed, followed by Paramount+’s Landman at 1.522 billion viewing minutes.

Joining the billion-club is the Netflix movie Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, with 1.306 billion minutes viewed in fourth place. Closing out the top five and holding steady is NCIS, shared across Hulu, Netflix, Pluto, and Paramount+, with 802 million viewing minutes.

The Hulu and Netflix shared title Homeland dropped to sixth place from fourth, with 798 million minutes viewed for the week of December 8. It was followed by Hulu’s Bob’s Burgers, accounting for 739 million viewing minutes.

Law & Order reentered the chart in the No. 8 position with 687 million minutes viewed across Hulu and Peacock, followed by Disney+’s Bluey dropping one place with 677 million viewing minutes.

Taking the final spot on the chart is the HBO Max series IT: Welcome to Derry, which debuted with 660 million minutes viewed.
