MONO has brought back a familiar face to lead the Stagwell-owned creative agency into its next chapter. Jeffrey Gorder has returned as CEO in his second act at the agency, where he spent 12 years first heading up the San Francisco office as managing director and then three years as chief growth officer.
He succeeds Jim Scott, the agency’s cofounder and leader for more than two decades, who is stepping back to focus on lecturing at the University of Minnesota. Scott oversaw MONO’s growth from startup to recognized creative player with clients including Apple, Google, Target, and PepsiCo.
Gorder returns to MONO after leaving in 2021 to join the consultancy Oliver, where he gained expertise in transforming and embedding creative talent in major corporations.
