Is it cute? Is it chaotic? Or something in between? Budweiser won’t say yet, but whatever creature is under its bucket is about to turn heads at Super Bowl 60.

The beer brand is returning to the Big Game with its 48th national spot, celebrating its 150th anniversary.

The teaser, “Stable,” is fronted by five of its iconic Clydesdale horses. The animals are shown standing shoulder-to-shoulder in their St. Louis, Mo. barn.

Suddenly, they’re startled by the rattling of an overturned metal bucket being pushed along the ground by an unidentified creature. One of the horses whinnies in amusement, before text reads: “Heads Will Turn,” accompanied by the Super Bowl logo.

Fans will have to wait until Super Bowl Sunday to find out.

The ad buy will form part of Budweiser’s ongoing “Made of America” campaign for its 150th anniversary. The brand is also releasing a Heritage Can Series with four designs showcasing the beer’s history, available in time for the game.

Budweiser’s famous Clydesdales have fronted the brewer’s advertising in the U.S. for decades.

In 2025, the brand’s  90-second “First Delivery” commercial was only set to air on digital channels and in select local markets. However, Budweiser pivoted to a national buy at the last minute following the “overwhelming excitement” around the sweet foal in the spot.

As to what the mystery critter could be in Bud’s Super Bowl 60 film, the company has been known for featuring cute and fuzzy protagonists.

It’s 2013 “Brotherhood” Super Bowl spot showed the bond between a foal called Hope and her trainer. The Clydesdales galloped into action again for the brand’s 2014 spot, alongside a fluffy golden Labrador in “Puppy Love.”

Budweiser’s owner, Anheuser-Busch, will also feature national ads for its Bud Light and Michelob Ultra brands during the 2026 Super Bowl broadcast, making it one of the top advertisers in this year’s event.

The brewer will feature Budweiser, Bud Light, and Michelob Ultra across several Super Bowl 2026 commercials.
