With the search for Nancy Guthrie extending over the one-month mark, authorities are still aggressively pursuing all angles to find the mother of NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie.

As that investigation continues, the network reported that the Today co-anchor visited her colleagues in New York on Thursday morning. The off-air visit provided Guthrie the chance to be with her coworkers and thank them for their support, according to a Today spokesperson.

NBC News also confirmed that Guthrie will be returning to the morning show at a time to be determined by Guthrie. The spokesperson added that “she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.”

During Today’s fourth hour, co-hosts Jenna Hager Bush and Sheinelle Jones spoke about the off-air visit, with Bush saying, “She said that she has the intention to return to the show—even though it feels like the hardest thing to do. It’s also her home and where she feels so loved.”

Jones added that she was proud of Guthrie, is rooting for her, and acknowledged the strength it took for her to return to the NBC News offices at 30 Rock: “Whenever you are ready, we are here,” Jones said.

Meanwhile, a $1 million reward has been offered by the Guthrie family to aid in the collection of information and recovery of their mother. The FBI has identified a person of interest, seeking a male 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, of average build.

This person, who was masked, was seen in the doorbell camera at Nancy Guthrie’s house on the night of the abduction. The suspect wore a black, 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack.
